• Pulmonary hypertension
• Coarctation of the aorta - complicated
• Marfan's syndrome with aortic involvement
• Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy
Moderate risk of mortality (5-15%)
• Artificial valves
• Mitral stenosis with AF
• Aortic stenosis
• Uncomplicated coarctation of the aorta
• Uncorrected terralogy of Fallot
• Previous MI
• Marfan's syndrome with normal aorta
Low risk of mortality (<1%)
• ASD & VSD
• Patent ductus arteriosus
• Porcine valve
• Corrected terralogy of Fallot
• Pulmonary / tricuspid valvular disease
