Chronic renal disease

1) Urine microscopy is characterised by the presence of red blood cells and red cell casts

2) 24h urine protein excretion is increased
3) Creatinine clearance is decreased
4) In the majority of women, pregnancy does not influence the natural history of chronic renal disease. 

However, there is controversy about women with IgA nephropathy, reflux nephropathy and membrano-proliferative glomerulonephritis
