Side-effects of prostaglandins
• Diarrhoea, nausea & vomiting, abdominal cramps
• Bronchospasm, chest pain and palpitations (not with misoprostol)
- mifepristone should not be used with gemeprost in smokers over the age of 35 years
• Pyrexia / chills, flushing
• Severe hypotension, coronary artery spasm and MI reported
